Amitrole 400 plus Atrazine 400
Previously sold as Nu-Zinole AA Total, Bantox AA and Total Weed Killer.
Rates quoted in HerbiGuide are for the pre mixed products.
A similar mix can be made by mixing amitrole plus atrazine.
A rate of 1000 mL/ha is equivalent to 1600 mL of Amitrole(250g/L) plus 800 mL/ha of flowable Atrazine(500g/L).
Alternatively, a rate of 1000 mL/ha is equivalent to 1600 mL of Amitrole(250g/L) plus 444 g/ha of granular Atrazine(900g/Kg).
The amitrole in these mixes reduces the activity of soil microbes that break down atrazine. This results in a slightly longer residual life for atrazine.
