Description:

Fungal diseases that cause 20 cm circular patches in turf that start off looking black then turn to brown or grey. When patches join large areas may be affected

Species Affected:

Turf.
Warm climate grasses appear to be more susceptible than cool climate grasses.
Kikuyu appears to be particularly susceptible.

Avoid excess nitrogen.
Avoid night watering.
