11.Registered Crop(s) : Wheat, Barley, Oats, Triticale, Linseed, Lucerne, Clover seed crops.
12.Effect of Soil Texture on Herbicide : n/a.
13.Effect of Soil pH on Herbicide : n/a.
14.Effect of Soil Organic Matter on Herbicide : n/a.
15.Mode of Action : Contact, minimal foliar translocation. Post-emergent.
16.Application Timing : Crop - 3 leaf to fully tillered (Z13 - 29).
Clover seed crops - After seedlings have at least 3 trifoliate leaves.

Lucerne and clover - After seedlings have 1 trifoliate leaf or before there is more than 15 cm regrowth in established stands.
17.Rate Variations : 1.4 - 2.0 L/ha
18.Rates Selection : Lower rate for small weeds, 2-6 leaf. Higher rate for larger weeds, 3-8 leaf.
19.Weeds Controlled : Tolerates 2.1 L/ha.
20.Effect on Crop : Crop damage on lucerne is greater as the temperature increases.
21a. Effect on Clover Species : Can be damaging if temperature during and after spraying exceeds 18-21oC. Most clovers are tolerant of 1.4 L/ha, the exceptions are:- Shaftal clover, Berseem clover - variable effects, but unacceptable damage is common, and Persian clover cv Kyambro - very sensitive with severe leaf scorch and yield reduction. Recovery can be slow. The cultivar Maral is also very sensitive to bromoxynil damage.

21b. Effect on Medic Species : Barrel medic - very sensitive, with large growth check and reduction in seed production. Plant death is possible. Work done by Nufarm has shown that snail medic, gama medic, burr medic, spineless burr medic and strand medic suffer severe and unacceptable damage when sprayed with 2.1 L/ha bromoxynil. No trials have been done at 1.4 L/ha.

21c. Effect on Lucerne : Tolerant. Some leaf scorching of seedlings with associated retarding of growth and yield reduction when the temperature 18 to 20oC on and for several days after application. Seedling death can occur.
22.Soil Moisture at Application :
DRY - Poor result.

MOIST - Preferable.

WATERLOGGED - Undesirable.
23.Frost Effects : Preceding application reduced herbicide effect, during application poor result.
24.Frost Free Days Required After Application : 5 days.
25.Effect of Application Water Quality on Herbicide :
Saline Water - Potable water recommended

Soil Colloids - Potable water recommended.

*Potable - fit or suitable for drinking.
26.Recommended Water Volume : 50 - 200 L/ha boom, 30 - 40 L/ha aircraft.
27.Nozzle Type : Those designed to apply 66 - 220 L water/ha. Best results with fine droplets.
28.Recommended Nozzle Pressure : 150 - 300 kPa (21.75 - 43.5 psi).
30.Recommended Wetter : Not required. Addition of surfactants may lower the tolerance of many legumes to herbicides.
31.Other Additives : May damage crop.
32.Rain Fastness : 6 hours.
33.Time Interval Before Effect is Noticed : 4 - 7 days peak activity.
35.Effect of Herbicide/Disease Interaction on Crop : No effect.
36.Withholding Period : 14 days.
37.Plant-Back Period : None.
38.Spray Tank Clean-Up : Several clear water rinses.
39.Other Comments : Do not apply by misting machines. Olympic and Shortim wheat yields reduced. Controls weeds not easily controlled by 2,4-D. Do NOT apply to cereals during or after booting stage. Established perennial weeds will not be controlled.
