2. Concentration of Active Constituent : 900 g/kg

4. Poison Schedule : Exempt from scheduling.
8.Dangerous Goods Class : Not classed as a dangerous good.
9.Shelf Life : 60 months (5 years)
(When stored under ideal conditions - refer page 4)
10.Mixtures Compatibility :
Gramoxone(paraquat Tryquat(paraquat 200g/L)

MCPA amine (eg MCPA Amine 500) Spray-Seed 200 (WA only)

Spray-Seed(paraquat + diquat) Stomp 330E (pendimethalin)
11.Registered Crop(s) : * Wheat, Barley, Oats: NSW, Vic, WA, SA only
Lucerne: All states

Triticale, Lupins: WA only.

Perennial grass seed crops: All states.

Summer fallows: SA only.
12.Effect of Soil Texture on Herbicide : Prefer bare or near bare soil. Application on light sandy soils may lead to crop damage. As clay content increases adsorption also increases. Clays with a high cation exchange capacity (C.E.C.) adsorb more diuron than those with a low C.E.C.
13.Effect of Soil pH on Herbicide : Unknown.
14.Effect of Soil Organic Matter on Herbicide : If charcoal or carboniferous materials present i.e. after burning trash or crop stubble, diuron may be absorbed and inactivated.
15.Mode of Action : Root absorption, minor foliar translocation, inhibits photosynthesis. Early post-emergent.
16.Application Timing: Cereals - 2 to 5 leaves only (Z12-15).
Lucerne - apply only to stands older than 1 year during dormant period.

Grass Crops - apply only to crops older than 1 year during dormant period before weed emergence.
17.Rate Variations : 275 g to 3.3 kg/ha.
18.Rates Selection : Lower rate lighter soils. Selective control of germinating weeds (grasses and broadleaves). Higher rate heavier soils and high organic matter levels. General weed killer.
19.Crop Damage (Crop Tolerance) : Can cause damage by leaching.
20.Effect on Crop : Crop effects of temporary yellowing only noticeable if applied at incorrect growth stage (beyond early tillering) and/or excessive rates. When used post sow, pre-emergent can cause more injury to barley than wheat or oats.
21.Effect on Legume Species : Tolerated by lucerne over one year old.
22.Soil Moisture at Application :
DRY - No movement through soil profile.

MOIST - Movement to weed zone.

WATERLOGGED - Excessive movement - possible crop damage and poor weed control.
23.Frost Effects : After application may delay effect on weeds.
24.Frost Free Days Required After Application : Nil.
25.Effect of Application Water Quality on Herbicide :
Saline Water - Drinkable water recommended.

Soil Colloids - Drinkable water recommended.
26.Recommended Water Volume : As per label.
27.Nozzle Type : Flat fan.
28.Recommended Nozzle Pressure : 150-300 kPa (21.75 - 43.5 psi).
29.Recommended Filter Size : Openings should be 50 mesh or larger.
30.Recommended Wetter : Agral 600 at 125 mL/100 L spray mixture or non-ionic surfactant as per label.
31.Other Additives : No.
32.Rain Fastness : 0 hours, longer for post em applications.
33.Time Interval Before Effect is Noticed : 7-14 days.
35.Effect of Herbicide/Disease Interaction on Crop : None.
36.Withholding Period : Not applicable.
37.Plant-Back Period : At cereal rates of use no plant-back period required. At higher rates allow up to 12 months before planting crops.
38.Spray Tank Clean-Up : Flush tank, pump, hose and boom with several changes of clean water after removing nozzle tips and screens (clean these separately).
39.Other Comments : Overdosing will cause damage. Very heavy rainfall after spraying may cause crop damage.
Best results are achieved if diuron is applied shortly before weed growth begins.
