Absorbed by foliage and stems and translocated upwards to protect new growth.

Acute dermal LD50 - >2000 mg/kg (rats) for formulated product.
Skin - Mild skin irritant. Not a sensitiser.
Eye - Mild eye irritant.
Vapour inhalation - LC50 - >3.26 mg/L air (rat) for formulated product.
Chronic oral toxicity NOEL - ppm for two years.
Classed as a Category 3 carcinogen by Worksafe indicating that results of cancer tests are inconclusive.
Regarded as causing developmental toxicity based on rat and rabbit studies.
Possible risk of impaired fertility based on small but significant effects in a second generation study of rats
Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) - 0.01 mg/kg/day.
NOEL - 1 mg/kg/day.

23. TOXICITY SYMPTOMS:

Inhaling high concentrations of vapours may cause nausea, dizziness, headache and weakness.
Swallowing large amounts may cause vomitting and nausea.
Prolonged contact on the skin may cause irritation.
Irritates eyes.

24. FIRST AID:

If SWALLOWED - Rinse mouth then drink plenty of water.
If in EYES - Irrigate for 15 minutes with plenty of water.
If on SKIN - Rinse with plenty of water, remove contaminated clothing, wash with soap and water.
If INHALED - Remove patient to fresh air.
If patient has symptoms or is concerned contact a doctor immediately.
Advice to doctor - Treat symptomatically. If vomiting occurs, solvents and surfactants may cause pulmonary pneumonitis.
