22. TOXICITY:

Poison schedule - S5
Summary: Low toxicity. May irritate eyes.
Details:
Poison schedule - S5
Mammalian toxicity - Low toxicity
Acute oral LD50 - >2000 mg/kg (rats), [For comparison table salt is 3000 mg/kg] Low toxicity
Acute dermal LD50 - >2000 mg/kg (rabbit). Low toxicity
Skin - Non irritant. Not a sensitiser.
Eye - Slight irritant. May irritate the eyes.
Vapour inhalation - Low toxicity LC50 (4h) > 5.06 mg/L air (rat).
Chronic oral toxicity NOEL - ppm for two years.
Not mutagenic or teratogenic (i.e. Does not cause cancer or reproductive problems).
Acceptable Daily Intake (ADI) -

Fludioxonil technical has been extensively tested on laboratory mammals and in test tube systems. No evidence of mutagenic, carcinogenic, teratogenic or reproductive effects was obtained.

Sedaxane technical has been extensively tested on mammals and in test tube systems. No evidence of mutagenic, teratogenic or reproductive effects was obtained. In chronic feeding studies at extremely high doses, numerically higher incidences of uterine, thyroid and liver tumours (male and/or female rats) and liver tumours (male mice) were within the range of normal background variation and are thus considered unrelated to treatment. Some overseas Regulatory Authorities have taken a more conservative position that these high-dose findings are treatment-related in rats and mice. The dose levels where these findings occur are not relevant to human exposure levels.

23. TOXICITY SYMPTOMS:

No specific symtoms.

24. FIRST AID:

If SWALLOWED - seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label. DO NOT induce vomiting.
If in EYES - Irrigate for 15 minutes with plenty of water. Remove contact lenses.

If on SKIN - Rinse with plenty of water, remove contaminated clothing, wash with soap and water. If skin irritation persists, see a doctor.
If INHALED - Remove patient to fresh air.If breathing is irregular or stopped, administer artificial respiration. Keep patient warm and at rest. Call a doctor or Poisons Information Centre immediately.
If patient has symptoms or is concerned contact a doctor immediately.
Advice to doctor - Treat symptomatically. There is no specific antidote available.
Symptoms Caused by Exposure: Poisoning symptoms in laboratory animals were non-specific.
Call Poisons Information Centre on 13 11 26
