An agricultural fungicide with anti-sporulant, protectant, translaminar and systemic activity for the control of downy mildew and blight in various crops.

Mammalian toxicity - Low.
Acute oral LD50 - >2500 mg/kg (rats), [For comparison table salt is 3000 mg/kg]
Acute dermal LD50 - >4000 mg/kg (rabbit).
Skin - Not irritating. Sensitising (Mouse)
Eye - Not irritating (rabbit) ) May irritate the eyes in some people. Avoid contact with eyes.
Vapour inhalation - LC50 - >3.195 mg/L air (rat 4hour).
Chronic oral toxicity NOEL - ppm for two years.
Fluopicolide was not mutagenic or teratogenic (i.e. Does not cause reproductive problems).
Propamocarb hydrochloride caused developmental toxicity only at dose levels toxic to the dams. The developmental effects seen are related to maternal toxicity.
Propamocarb hydrochloride was not carcinogenic in lifetime feeding studies in rats and mice.
Fluopicolide at high doses caused increased incidence of tumours in mice in the following the liver. The mechanism that triggers tumours in rodents and the type of tumours observed are not relevant to humans.

23. TOXICITY SYMPTOMS:

Lethargy, convulsions, ataxia (lack of coordination, drunkenness)

24. FIRST AID:

If SWALLOWED - Do not induce vomitting. Rinse mouth with water.
If in EYES - Irrigate for 15 minutes with plenty of water. See a doctor if irritation develops and persists.
If on SKIN - Rinse with plenty of water, remove contaminated clothing, wash with soap and water. May cause an allergic skin reaction. If skin irritation or rash occurs then See a doctor.
If INHALED - Remove patient to fresh air.
If patient has symptoms or is concerned contact a doctor immediately.
Advice to doctor - Treat symptomatically.
This product, although being a carbamate, is NOT a cholinesterase
inhibitor.
In case of ingestion gastric lavage should be considered in cases of significant ingestions only within the first 2 hours. However, the application of activated charcoal and sodium sulphate is always advisable. There is no specific antidote.
Contraindication: atropine.
