Do NOT mix with :- Phenoxy herbicides eg 2,4-D, MCPA or compounds that are highly alkaline/acidic or that have high ion contents.

11.	Registered Crop(s) : Lupins, Field Peas, Canola, Chickpeas, Faba Beans. Permit use only in pasture and lucerne.
12.	Effect of Soil Texture on Herbicide : Generally haloxyfop is more efficacious in lighter soils.
13.	Effect of Soil pH on Herbicide :
14.	Effect of Soil Organic Matter on Herbicide :
15.	Mode of Action : Foliar translocation, and to a lesser extent root absorption. It is hydrolysed to haloxyfop which is translocated to actively growing meristematic tissues where growth is inhibited. Post-emergent.
16.	Application Timing : Do NOT apply after the crops have commenced flowering.
17.	Rate Variations : mL/ha.
18.	Rates Selection : Lower rate for grasses up to tillering, and are actively growing. Higher rate for grasses up to mid tillering.
19.	Crop Damage (Crop Tolerance) : Do not apply to crops after the onset of flowering.
21.	Effect on Clover Species : Nil.

21b. Effect on Medic Species : Nil.

22.	Soil Moisture at Application : Extremes of soil moisture (too wet, too dry) that affect plant growth should be avoided. Optimal efficacy occurs when Verdict 104 is applied to actively growing plants - avoid applying to plants under stress.
23.	Frost Effects : Very little data on this subject.
25.	Effect of Application Water Quality on Herbicide :

Saline Water - Verdict Herbicide is formulated to tolerate a reasonable range of hard to soft water conditions.

Soil Colloids - prefer the use of clean water.

26.	Recommended Water Volume : 50 - 100 L/ha boom, 20 - 30 L/ha aircraft.
27.	Nozzle Type : 110o fan. Best results with fine droplets.
28.	Recommended Nozzle Pressure : Manufacturer's recommendation 200 kPa (28.6 psi).
30.	Recommended Wetter : Only if spray volume exceeds 150 L/ha, refer label.
31.	Other Additives : Crop oil 1 L/100 L spray solution - Uptake, Ampol D-C-Tron, Ampol D-C-Trate, BP Ulvapron, Tregspray, Hasten, Synertrol and BS 1000 are compatible.
32.	Rain Fastness : Minimum 1 hour.
33.	Time Interval Before Effect is Noticed : Up to 4 weeks.
35.	Effect of Herbicide/Disease Interaction on Crop : No identified changes in disease after application, however oil should NOT be added to Verdict Herbicide when it is applied to canola or field peas. The addition of oil to Verdict Herbicide may affect canola and field pea susceptibility to Downy Mildew.
36.	Withholding Period : 90 days prior to harvest Field Peas, 100 days prior to harvest Chickpeas, 120 days prior to harvest Lupins & Canola, 150 days prior to harvest Faba Beans
37.	Plant-Back Period : Cereal crops or grasses - 12 weeks.
38.	Spray Tank Clean-Up : Wash thoroughly with clean water after use and rinse several times prior to reuse.
39.	Other Comments : Verdict Herbicide will NOT control silver grass (Vulpia spp.). However in sub clover pasture, Verdict 104 may be tank mixed with simazine which is registered for control of Silver grass. Where annual ryegrass resistance to herbicides is known or suspected, Verdict Herbicide may not provide adequate control of this weed. Soil residual activity usually provides adequate control of later germinating grasses.
