Causes serious seed staining if wet weather occurs before harvest.

Management and Control:

Plant tolerant varieties.
Treat seed with a seed dressing containing thiram.
Spray with mancozeb 6-8 weeks after planting. Repeat spray with mancozeb of chlorothalonil every 7-14 days if weather is conducive to the disease.
Spray with chlorothalonil during pod fill and before haying off if the weather is wet to reduce seed staining (mancozeb can also be used if more than 30 days before harvest)
