Cylindrosporium concentricum

Description:

Silvery spots that become pale and diffuse with time and develop concentric rings of white to pale pink dots on a darker background.

Dark brown patches often with a lighter centre occur on petioles and Cauliflower heads.

Species Affected:

Brassicas.

Cauliflowers are very susceptible.

Biology:

Favoured by cool wet conditions.

Survives on crop residues.

Spread by wind and rain splash.
