 Seed treatments are not effective.

Apply foliar fungicides containing tebuconazole or triadimefon at the first sign of disease usually in early spring. Don't delay as the disease spreads quickly.

If disease develops late in the season (within 4 weeks of haying off) then the effect on yield is minimal and spraying is rarely worthwhile.
